TECU will be sponsoring 2 young members this year!
TECU is again sponsoring one lucky participant ages 14-18 to go to summer camp at the CYL Camp (Cooperative Young Leaders Camp). This week-long initiative brings young people together from all across Ontario to learn about, and practice, communication and leadership through cooperative activities. Please see eligibility requirements here. Our last year’s winner was Miles Deacon.
We are also offering a new opportunity for our younger members … Base Camp where one lucky member ages 12-13 can experience a weekend adventure and learn about the co-operative principles in an interactive, hands on way. Participants will enjoy the traditions of the CYL program and work on a project that incorporates their strengths while working as a part of a team. The Base Camp was cancelled last year unfortunately but we are moving forward with the assumption that it will go ahead as planned this year.
