On June 14 TECU had our latest bus trip. A beautiful Sightseeing Cruise aboard the ‘Miss Midland’ and experienced the sparkling waters, the windswept pines, and rocky grandeur of Muskoka-Georgian Bay’s 30,000 Islands, one of the loveliest cruising areas in the Northern Hemisphere.
The cruise departed from the town dock in Midland, and while enjoying the cruise we enjoyed a delicious Buffet Luncheon served on board Following the cruise, we departed Midland for the ‘Big Chute Marine Railway’ on the Trent-Severn Waterway, where we viewed this engineering marvel. Leaving the Big Chute we motored south to Orillia, where we stopped at the popular Mariposa Market Bakery and enjoyed scrumptious plus some shopping time before we headed home.
