What is Apple Pay?
Apple Pay offers an easy, secure and private way to pay on iPhone, iPad, Apple
Watch and Mac. Energy CU Collabria Visa credit cards can soon be used with Apple Pay to pay on the go
at merchants who accept contactless payments, in participating apps and on the
web. Apple Pay will provide real-time notifications and details for your purchases
when you use Apple Pay on iPhone or iPad.
To use Apple Pay in-store, you must have an iPhone 6 or later or an AppleWatch that
is paired with an iPhone 5 or later. To use Apple Pay for in-app payments, you must
have an AppleWatch, iPhone SE, iPhone 6 or later, or iPad Pro, iPad Air 2 or iPad mini
3 or later. You can also use Apple Pay on the web on supported iPhones, iPads or
Macs

In addition to being simple and easy, Apple Pay is also completely secure and private. When you make a purchase, Apple Pay uses a device-specific number and unique transaction code. So your card number is never stored on your device or on Apple servers, and when you pay your card numbers are never shared by Apple with merchants.
When you pay with a debit or credit card, Apple Pay doesn’t keep transaction information that can be tied back to you.
