Some of our local businesses have been hit hard by COVID-19 and with Ontario restrictions finally starting to lift, The Energy CU would like to encourage all of us to do what we can to support our local communities! To help make an impact in our community and its local business, Energy CU will be participating in a movement called the #Loyal2LocalChallenge. This challenge encourages people to spend their money locally and support small independent local business to help our local economies bounce back from a very trying year.

As an extension of our core values of Trust, Loyalty and Compassion, The Energy CU would like to encourage all of our staff and members to help reinforce a commitment to community well-being. With our online and digital presence, it may seem that the whole province is local! Since our branches span the whole greater Toronto area, our idea of local really is much larger than most. Hopefully this commitment will help get things started in our local economies and also celebrate the re-opening of many small businesses, wherever that local may be for them! By supporting local suppliers and businesses,  you can also join a massive effort to promote those local businesses who have been impacted the most by COVID-19.

With this in mind, The Energy CU would like to express a big thank you to our stellar employees for supporting our members with service excellence and always going the extra mile to make sure all our members are taken care of. We always strive to keep that close personal feel while there is physical distance.
