We’re deeply saddened to share the loss of our beloved colleague and friend, Beth Wallace.
Beth had been part of our organization since 1988, and over the decades, she became a bright light of our credit union community. Kind, thoughtful, and always ready to lend a hand or a listening ear, Beth brought warmth and care to everything she did. Her absence is felt deeply by all of us.
To honour Beth’s memory, we’ll be holding a gathering on Thursday, December 4 from 11 AM to 2 PM at 305 Milner room 305. Members, staff, and friends are welcome to join us to reflect, share stories, and celebrate the incredible person she was.
The photo we’ve chosen to share with this post captures Beth in a moment that truly reflects her spirit. A few years ago, she was recognized by the City of Toronto for her outstanding contribution to the community… spreading comfort and joy through her beautifully decorated home during the holiday season. Her light display brought smiles to neighbours and families, and her home was featured on the City’s Holiday Homes list for self-guided light tours. It was a perfect example of how Beth made the world brighter for those around her.
Thank you for being part of this community. Let’s continue to support one another, just as Beth always did.
With care,
The Energy Credit Union
