Celebrating the Global Credit Union Movement on International Credit Union (ICU) Day®
International Credit Union (ICU) Day® is a special day to honor the international credit union movement. It’s a chance to recognize its history, celebrate its achievements, and acknowledge the hard work of individuals. Members also have the opportunity to share their experiences. Since 1948, ICU Day® has been celebrated on the third Thursday of October.
The objective of this day is to raise awareness of the incredible work that credit unions and other financial cooperatives are doing globally, and encourage members to become more involved.
On Thursday, October 19, 2023, the 75th anniversary of International Credit Union Day® will be commemorated.
