The Energy Credit Union Limited will be held at
302-305 Milner Avenue Toronto, Ontario M1B 3V4
on April 17th, 2020 at 5:00pm (doors open at 4:30pm).
For 81 years, The Energy Credit Union has been focused on improving and protecting the personal and financial well being of our members. Due to the growing number of world-wide cases of COVID-19, the Credit Union has decided to make some important changes for our upcoming AGM. Our AGM has historically been well attended by our members and these new changes for our 81st AGM are being put in place to reduce the potential expo-sure of this person-to-person virus to our members. The health and safety of our members and staff is our number one priority. Our 81st Annual General Meeting will move from a large catered event at The Holiday Inn on Carlton Street to a business meeting only at our Milner location. The business meeting of our AGM will carry on as planned at the new location; however, in contrast to previous years and to further limit the potential risk of exposure, there will be no door prizes, no food or drinks served and there will be no bar avail-able. While this was a difficult decision to break from long standing tradition, it is vitally important to us that our event does not expose our members to any potential for increased risk. If you wish to attend our scaled back AGM business meeting, we ask that you RSVP your attendance prior to the event. If you are feeling unwell or may have travelled recently, we encourage you to stay home and take care of yourself. We appreciate our member’s understanding and wish you a healthy, strong and prosperous 2020.
