It’s with great anticipation and pleasure that we are finally able to announce that on December 3, 2018, we commence our relocation to a more comfortable and spacious area.
Our NEW Head Office location will be 305 Milner Avenue, Suite 212, Toronto, Ontario M1B 3V4.
Our new and better location is close to the 401, is in the east end where most of our members are, and along with more convenient parking, is also accessible via the transit system. Our phone number remains the same at 416-238-5606. Our primary email address is also still the same mail@theenergycu.com. Please note that as of November 1, 2018, our telephone teller phone number will be changing. The new telephone teller phone number is 1-866-496-9357. Due to our move out of 500 Commissioners Street Toronto Hydro location, our ATM at that location will also be decommissioned on October 31, 2018. Please see included maps of our New Head Office Location at Milner and for ATMs located near our New Head Office branch and ATMs with close proximity to our existing (and soon to be closing) 2 Toronto locations at Commissioners and Carlton.
Since we first opened our doors in 1939 within the Toronto Hydro Carlton location and in 1996 when we commenced our Service Centre branch within the Toronto Hydro Commissioners location, your loyal business and support is one of the main reasons why we’ve grown so much over the years, and now we need more space to serve you better. At the former 2 locations, both located in Toronto, the limited parking, tight working spaces and ongoing need to chaperone our members to our branch within the Toronto Hydro facility were no longer acceptable. For the past six months, in advance of our lease which has an end date in 2019, we’ve been searching for the ideal location and are happy to tell everyone that we’ve finally found it!
As of December 3, 2018, we are no longer at 500 Commissioners Street. As of January 7, 2019, we will no longer have a branch at 2 Carlton Street, Suite 810. Both branches will be permanently closed as of these respective dates.
