Secured Online Banking

Through MemberDirect, TECU has a fully secure online banking system that allows our members to do most of their banking 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Members can pay bills, transfer money, view online statements and cheque images from the comfort of their own home or office. Contact our offices at 416-238-5606 to enroll.

As part of our continuing commitment to cybersecurity, reCAPTCHA a new safety feature, has been integrated within our online cyberBanker.  Enhanced authentication practices are commonplace for online banking and e-commerce platforms, and TECU’s login features will continue to evolve with advancements in technology.

This new feature is available on desktop & mobile web and is not currently available on mobile app. reCAPTCHA requires members to first confirm they are human (and not a robot).  As members log in they will be asked to select common themes in images to login, like the screenshot below.

Online International Remittance

Online International Remittance allows members to send money through their online banking portal to Western Union Agent locations in over 200 countries and territories, and feel confident that it will arrive securely for the recipient to collect in cash. There is no need to set up new accounts, user IDs or passwords. Members can get started immediately from the convenience of their online banking site. You can just log in with your usual credentials and go from there. With Western Union Money Transfers via Interac e-Transfer an international transfer can be processed and available for collection at a Western Union location within minutes.
