The Toronto Hydro Stars headed out to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan last week to take part in the 23th Annual Canadian Electrical Power Hockey Tournament. The Stars hosted this event a few years ago, but the home ice advantage was not on their side, as they missed the chance to advance to the final round. However, this year, for the first time in their 15 year history, the Hydro Stars not only made it to the “A” Division championship game, but they emerged victorious after winning in a shootout 5-4 against the Hydro Quebec Predeurs. John Riley was responsible for scoring the winning goal. Look for the championship trophy to make it’s rounds throughout the various Hydro locations. TEUCU is proud to be a sponsor. Congratulations to the players of the team.
