As of October 1, 2009 the launch of the new Credit Union Act will include changes to the amount that DICO (Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario) will insure on all registered investments. The Limit will change from $100,000 to unlimited for all registered investments. Non-registered deposits will still have an insured limit of $100,000.
