After weeks of repeats due to the writers strike, some of late night’s best will be making a return to television tonight. We’ll see returns from David Letterman, Jay Leno and Conan O’Brian to name a few. The only difference is that the studio for David Letterman was able to make a deal with the Writers Guild of America, allowing the writers to return to work on the David Letterman show. As a result, celebrity guests will not be required to pass the picket line, making it a lot easier to get for their interview. Jay Leno’s studio has still not worked out any deal, which is probably why his celebrity guest tonight is a policitian, while Letterman has funny man Robin Williams. The writers strike has gone on far too long now, and it’s only a matter of time until it ends, and television can go back to the way it use to be.
