Easy A is a classic high school scenario that shows how one little rumour can spread like disease and how quickly it can change a person and how others see them. Emma Stone plays Olive, a high school girl who’s reputation changes for the worse when she agrees to allow guys to say that they hooked up. She originally does this out of guilt, helping those in high school who are tormented or bullied, and believe that a rumour with a hot girl will improve their reputation. This has an opposite affect on Olive, being cast with the Scarlet Letter by many. At first Olive enjoys the attention that she is getting, having the entire school talking about her, she even embraces it, until her actions begin to hurt the ones she cares about. Easy A has been compared to that of Mean Girls, and is very enjoyable. Not for younger children.
