So, last night I gutted my kitchen getting ready to replace it with a new one. I had only one cupboard left to remove, the one with plumbing going through it. As the cutting was taking place to slide the cupboard around the plumbing, one little slip of the hand turned the water valve back on, and quickly filling my kitchen with water. Of course, the water was coming out of the pipe leading up to where the sink was, so we were fortunate enough to have the water going up into the air, coming down on us and everything else in the place like a shower head. Note to self and others, When working with plumbing, be aware of where the water valve is, and avoid it, trust me.
