The Energy Credit Union Limited is a credit union that is regulated in the province of Ontario through a comprehensive regulatory framework which involves the Ministry of Finance, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) and the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario (DICO). Member deposits are automatically insured up to a $250,000 limit (unlimited for deposits in registered plans) by DICO.
